christmas dress up day

On the 7th of december it was a Christmas dress up day. We dressed up all christmassy and brought a dollar coin for the christmas hamper that we are doing for school. My teacher Ms Sands did paint face. I got a christmas ornament and a red nose on my face. when we did jump jam there was lots of red and since i'm the Kea/red house captain I was  very happy. It was a pretty normal friday only more red and green. have a look at some photos

Interland

Hey bloggers ,we played a game called Interland  that helps us be internet safe. We made a DLO about the parts of the games and the meaning. The parts of Interland are
the Kind Kingdom , Mindful Mountain , Reality River and Treasure Tower. Have a Look at my DLO.
I found this work easy cause you had to play a game and then write about it the only thing I struggled with was the kind kingdom part of the game because the controls were not what I was used to.

Improving blog comments

Hey bloggers! Today at cybersmart we were learning and making improvements to our comments. We paired up with a buddy and wrote a comment on their blog.
Then we made a DLO, in this DLO we copied our original comment in a small box then in the bigger box we put the comment in then we edited it. I have change it to have a question and corrected puntuacion. I liked my new comment because I made it a bit longer so then it looks a little bit better. Have a look at my one.

I found this work kind of hard because my first buddy comment section didn't work so I had to do a comment on someone else's blog .

Show It, Dont Tell It

Hey bloggers This week we are working on using descriptive language by sharing our writing straight onto our blog.  The challenge we have is to describe a place using only six sentences. After reading the description you need to guess the place that has been described. It would really help if you say what clues helped you come to this conclusion. So let the guessing begin!

1.this is where the treaty was signed

2.it is in the bay of island

3.this is where the crown and the chief joined forces.

4.this is where the author of the treaty house is.

5.this place has longest waka.

6.the thing that happened here has its own day.

kawa of care cybersmart : the first post of the year

             HAPPY 2018 every one  
For cybersmart I made a slideshow about making  a strong password. we look we look at the Kawa of Care document. I made original  characters for this  so I didn't get copyrighted. I used Chibi Maker to make them, one is a boy man demon robot thing, another one is  a another boy man demon robot thing but cooler!
And my final one is a robot demon. Here it is.



It is a guide to making a strong  password. Your guide is Champ who leads you though the world of passwords, but then shows you that he is an evil robot. I hope you enjoy my blog post.

Cybersmart

In Cybersmart with Gerhard  we learnt to make a good blog comment. We made a drawing called "AH Blog Commenting Sentence Starters Template."  We did a thoughtful, helpful and positive sentence and combined it in the blue square. We went on a Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu 
blog. I choose Antonio from Wesley Intermediate. The blog post I used was his "My People" post. Have a look at my work below.

I found this work hard because this piece  of work was so good I didn't think I needed  to write a question and a helpful statement.

my blog profile

2 or 3 weeks ago , In Cybersmart we were focusing on making a blog profile to protect our identify. We used befunky.com to do funny thing with our faces. We used thinglink to add connections. I chose these 6 things. 2 thing about myself 2 you tube videos  and 2 websites have a look.

This work was easy and fun because we wrote about our self have a look at be funky a online photo shopper.
