christmas dress up day

On the 7th of december it was a Christmas dress up day. We dressed up all christmassy and brought a dollar coin for the christmas hamper that we are doing for school. My teacher Ms Sands did paint face. I got a christmas ornament and a red nose on my face. when we did jump jam there was lots of red and since i'm the Kea/red house captain I was  very happy. It was a pretty normal friday only more red and green. have a look at some photos

Writing and Math tumble

Hey bloggers. Since the start of this term we had been doing 3 tumbles, 1 of which I have already blogged. This blog post will be talking about the math and writing tumbles, the maths tumble consisted of a few DLO you had to make, an e-ako, an in book worksheet and a super messy maths. The writing tumble consisted of a 5 pictures that you had to write about. It took me about 3-4 days to complete one of these. Have a look


This work was hard because it challenged me, especially the addition and subtraction because there were lots of steps.

my playground

Today we made a playground using tinker cad a online website that let you made 3 d Landscape Mr riceman challenge us to make a playground for the Juniors  .
We must of made a screencastify  i made mine have a theme SPACE. on here there is a Space ship ,Slides ,Spinney things, Butterfly,PAC man eating a moon,Play House , sitting area  , par core and monkey bars . Here is my video.   

This work was hard because there so so many thing to choose from i think i can improve it maybe I could add more items .

I notice that it must be hard to be a Architect .

tent makeing

Hello blogging world. This week we made tents for gemoatery we used.

• modelling clay
• tooth picks
• art paper

 There was lots of different shape Triangles,Circle,Squires,Hexagons,Octagons,Pentagons.

Have a look at my one.

• Mine has a simple pyramid with Hammock  poles and defence. inside you can eat and relax .
• the Hammock poles are where you hang your Hammock to sleep
• defence is a lazer wall so any wolfs , bears,snakes,robbers they be inconsiderate.  

I found the work hard because you had to use so much modding clay to stick a tooth pick on because i needed to use more .

I notice the the square base is the best to hold up the tooth picks.

Number of the day

 Last week for math Kahurangi did a number of the day  slide show. You could choose  a 4 digit number and you did different things with it, have a look.
.
This work was a little challenging but the rest was easy because you could have any number you wanted you could just have 1111 or 1234.
I noticed that you could do lots of things with a 4 digit number.
My Favorite part was making the word problem.
My least favourite bit was writing 1258   again and again and again .
