My bird art / art show

My Bird Art
Hey bloggers.  For the art show, Hauraki are doing native birds. I did the amazing Kea for some reasons. Why I chose the Kea
1. Because I am the Kea house captain  of course
2. Because it has lots of beautiful colours like green , yellow and black.
My background was a starry night sky with a ocean view . I think I did very well with my bird and background. Here is a photo of my bird.

Art Show
Hey bloggers.
This week on Tuesday, it was the art show. It was very cool and their were cookies to eat but the adults got brownies, sausage rolls, lolly cake and veggies and dip. Yummy!
Here's a quick recount about the art show.

WOW! Look at all of these. It's amazing they're so colourful. The paintings look so real.
On Tuesday it was the art show and I was dropped off so I didn't really go with any one .
First thing that happened after I walked though the door was me asking Mrs Petersen if I could be a waitress ( yes you could be a waitress / waiter  ) she said yes and she gave me a apron. Then when the other waitress / waiters arrived we stared giving out food .
Then we had to finish our shift , silly me I should have told my parents to stay. I was upset till Miss McGrath calm me down. Then I did some weaving  for 3 mins until I got to give out food again.
After the food ran out, all the waitress / waiter went to do the dishes  and after the dishes we hung out till our parents came. I was the last to leave as we finished early so my parent didn't come till 30 mins after. So Miss McGrath  walked me to her car so we could stay warm in till my parents came .
The end

  1. Hi Jasmine,

I love the amazing painting you did of the kea. And I like how you explained to the adiouns why you like keas so much. It also sounds like you had a lot of fun.

Your picture reminds me of my original home called Athur's Pass. There were lots of keas there. I remember a kea trying to take apart the car.

  2. Hi Jasmine,

I really like your painting! How long did it take to make? Maybe next put you work on a slide or something to make it more interesting to look at. Otherwise really like this post looking forward to reading more of your post.

  3. Hi Jasmine, my name is Jacob, and I am a student in Manukau. That kea looks good, because of the detail. Maybe, if you do something like that again, you could make the stars smaller. I think that would look better. I'm sure I did something like that for art when I was in the Juniors, about 4 years ago. My blog is at wpsjacobw.blogspot.com . Bye!
