Tiritiri Matangi

Hello bloggers. Thursday 31st May 2018 the seniors of Waikowhai Primary went on a long journey to Tiritiri Matangi.  That included, 1 hour 30 mins ferry boat rides , a 1 hour walk and a scavenger hunt. It  was very fun and there were lot of beautiful  birds. I liked the bush walk because all the birds came so close up.
I Learnt that Kererus can get drunk  and fall out of trees and that Tuis are  predators that scare away other birds.
I think I could make a bird feeder of sugar and water to bring some pollinators to my house. If you like here are some photos you can enjoy.

It was an awesome experience.
I hope your school could go sometime.

I loved how you used descriptive words,
and the pictures, I also liked how you explained what is going on in the picture Good Job.

A good tip is to always get some else to read your post first and re read to pick up those little mistakes.
