Show It, Dont Tell It

Hey bloggers This week we are working on using descriptive language by sharing our writing straight onto our blog.  The challenge we have is to describe a place using only six sentences. After reading the description you need to guess the place that has been described. It would really help if you say what clues helped you come to this conclusion. So let the guessing begin!

1.this is where the treaty was signed
2.it is in the bay of island
3.this is where the crown and the chief joined forces.
4.this is where the author of the treaty house is.
5.this place has longest waka.
6.the thing that happened here has its own day.

  1. I think this is Waitangi because the treaty was signed there.

  3. Kia Ora Jasmine,
I really like how you showed us what your blog post was about and what you were doing it for. My guess is Waitangi because i went to wellington last year and we went and looked at the original treaty of waitangi and we got told all about it and they said that it was signed in Waitangi. Maybe next time you could put in how long it took you to write this and why you chose that specific location?

    Yours Sincerely Grace
