Week 1 Day 2 Activity 3

Hello bloggers. For The summer learning journey we had to solve this problem.you are given a cactus for your birthday. To keep it alive, you must give it 3 ml of water every day. Over one full year, how much water will you need to give your cactus plant?
This is how I solved it
3x365= 1095 ÷ 1000=1.095
Answer: 1.095 litre
Hope you learnt something.

  1. Aloha Jasmine,

    I can see that you've been thinking carefully about how you could try to solve this problem. Well done on selecting the right numbers to work with to help you do that.

    You have provided an answer in litres; remember that the activity asks that you give us your answer in millilitres. You must also be sure to show how you worked it out, perhaps you could grab some paper and a pen or create a Screencastify. Please edit this post to include these two things so that I may reward you with full points for this activity. :)

    Math can be very tricky, it's all about reading the problem carefully and persevering, I look forward to reading your edited post.

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.
