Week3 day 1 acivty one

ReplyDeleteI'm Leslie, reading your blog from Canada where we're in the middle of a very chilly winter. The temperature outside today is -20 C. so we have to put on a lot of clothes in order to go out walking or to play in the snow. That might be quite hard for you to picture as you're enjoying summer days!
Visiting New Zealand in the summer sounds lovely. You've mad a good list of attractions that people might enjoy when visiting your country. I'm interested in knowing what 'rainbows end' is. And what is a 'hot water beach'? I know that there are many beautiful beaches along the coastlines of New Zealand, but I'm not familiar with a 'hot water beach'.
I do know about the Sky Tower in Auckland - you can see it from almost all parts of the city, can't you? My daughter lives in Auckland so I've had a chance to see it from a distance many times. It reminds me of a similar tower we have in the city of Toronto in Canada - we call it the CN Tower.
Have you ever gone up in the Sky Tower? You'd have to like heights to go all of the way to the top, wouldn't you?
I hope you're enjoying some of the destinations you've listed for visitors. And I hope you're having lots of fun this summer! Keep up your good work on this program!
